Sales representative will be responsible for actively generating club revenue while developing and working together with sales and front desk staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sell memberships to walk in customers
- Set appointments through referrals and leads
- Establish corporate membership programs
- Develops and implements sales policies and procedures for department
- Light cleaning/organizing
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, typing and standing for long periods of time
- Maintains professionalism and appearance, when not assisting members; avoids eating, sitting, reading, Internet surfing, or any other activities that are not work-related
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent team and leadership skills
- A comprehensive understanding of sales operations
- Must be highly motivated and energetic and organized
- Ability to multitask
- An understanding of health club operations
- Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary
